supporting preteens, teens, & young adults
Engaging counseling, customized to client interests.

Hi, I'm Lish.
Life can be tough, and I feel fortunate to support clients in navigating the many changes occurring during preteen, teen, and young adult years (ages 10 - 25). Depending on client interests, I like to incorporate art, animals, music, games, and writing therapy techniques into sessions. Talk therapy appointments can be in-person at 96 Beach Walk Blvd., Conroe, TX or online.
A tad more on the animal bit...they have always been a huge part of my life and I hope to share the positive impact of the human-animal bond with clients. Following Natural Lifemanship principles, I also offer equine/horse-assisted therapy at Inspiration Ranch in Magnolia. If you or a loved one is interested in moving beyond four walls of an office and into a pasture with horses, inquire about this impactful experience.
In summary, you'll find I strive to assist young people in feeling comfortable and at ease in sessions. I'm genuine, easy-going and very relatable in my counseling approach. Above all, I'm on the side of my clients and an ally in their journey. I also enjoy supporting parents if applicable. I commonly work with those working through anxiety, depression, trauma, and recovery. I have had experiences working at a Betty Ford outpatient center, a private practice, a community health agency and shelter. I earned a Masters degree in Counseling from Hazelden Betty Ford Graduate School and have another masters degree in Human Resources. Prior to offering therapy, I spent a number of years in career and life counseling roles at several universities.
